Paisley Museum and Library closing doors ahead of £42M transformation

As part of the £42m project to transform the venue into an international-class destination, Paisley Museum, Central Library and the Heritage Centre is planned to close on Thursday, 20 September.

The Paisley Museum Reimagined project will see major revamps to all of the buildings on the site, including the Coats Observatory, which will reopen in 2022.

The museum is being redesigned by award-winning international architects AL_A and will be completely redesigned internally, as well as having a new entrance, cafe/restaurant and landscaping.
